On the 3rd of July the students of MasqueradeTheatre Arts held a dress rehearsal for their summer 2015 show including their
rendition of Hairspray, We Will Rock You, a medley of Disney characters and
Shrek. I had the pleasure and privilege
of photographing these song & dance numbers. With children ranging in age from around six
to sixteen, they performed with skill, charm and energy, led by their
inimitable teacher, choreographer and company principal, Cristin Curtin. She’s a woman I’ve known for many years,
seeing her grow her business from a private singing teacher to serious musical
theatre director and producer.
I think it’s apparent how much the children adore performing in the following photographs and I’m so glad I was able to be capture this fabulous performance for posterity.
