There are so many things about winter about which to despair,
but the orchid exhibition at Kew isn't one of them. I now look forward to it as a child would –
the colours, the delicacy and the promise.
The ultimate fantasy would be to be able to have the entire Princess of
Wales Conservatory all to myself and my canon for an hour at dawn – yes, these
are the dreams of the nature photographer.
