The Hills & Dales of eastern Wales

This summer granted my partner and me a wonderful opportunity for relaxation and refection.  So I spent two of the three weeks of his ‘holibatical’ in Wales and Hereford.  The first cottage in which we stayed was built around 1560.  Yes, that’s a full 200 years before the founding of America.  The little house was quite rustic and located on National Trust land south of Painscastle.

When we arrived at the third cottage, actually in Hereford, I was captured - by the remoteness, the Aga, the agriculture life and the proximity to fantastic sites.  I’m so blessed to have had such a brilliant time.
